Tuition information for the Master's in Management and Organizational Leadership (MOL) offered by the Penn State Smeal College of Business.

Tuition for students in the Master's in Management and Organizational Leadership (MOL) program from the Penn State Smeal College of Business is determined by the University and is based on the graduate rate for students in the category of Business, EMS, Science, IST, and Engineering.

The rate for Pennsylvania residents in 2022-23 is $26,062 per academic year, and the rate for non-Pennsylvania residents is $43,260. Tuition rates for the upcoming academic year are set by mid-summer by the University. For more information, visit

A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required to accept an offer of admission to the MOL program. This deposit will be credited toward your fall tuition payment.

The MOL also has the following additional fees:

  • Leadership Immersion ($75) - The students will spend one day at an off-site location to enhance their leadership, communication, and decision making skills.  The fee will cover all costs including facility, instructor, transportation, and meals for the day.
  • Accounting Pre-Term Course Access and Materials ($45) - Due to the rigorous nature of the program, and because most students entering the program are not very familiar with Accounting and Finance, students are required to complete a pre-term Accounting course prior to the first semester of classes. The coursework is delivered online, but requires a course fee for materials and access.
  • Communication Skills for Leadership Course ($30) - Since there is no book assigned in the Communications course, this fee covers the binder, handouts, copies, and other materials, as well as additional expenses expenses such as recorders and timers.
